APPLICATIONS
The
B&P belt presses are used in the food industry for processing
fruit. They extract juice from apple mash or other fruits, provided
that the mash condition is optimal.
APEX
The
B&P Apex belt press is a continuous-action double belt press
for fruit and berry mash with integrated extraction, i.e. a single
extraction stage produces the same results as a cascade connection
of several presses used by our competitors. A flexible extraction
line and high contact pressure in the re-pressing area allow for
yields of up to 80%. The juice drain line ensures that juice can be
drained off from each press roller and sorted depending on quality.
The cleaning brushes and an additional high pressure pump ensure a
thorough cleaning of the belt and low water consumption. The whole
press can be easily accessed for cleaning purposes. The doors of
the belts’ cleaning boxes can be opened as well.

COPRA
The
B&P Copra press is a continuous-action double belt press for
fruit and berry mash. A distributor in the mash supply chute
ensures an even distribution of the mash over the entire belt
width. Approx. 70% of the juice is extracted by the gently pressing
perforated rollers. The gentle pressure increase ensures that even
the most difficult-to-press mashes can be processed and that the
mash is not pressed out to the side. The subsequent press section
is designed as a high pressure section, ensuring high yield. The
cleaning brushes and an additional high pressure pump ensure a
thorough cleaning of the belt and low water consumption.
The
whole press can be easily accessed for cleaning purposes. The doors
of the belts’ cleaning boxes can be opened as well.

OPUS
The
B&P Opus press is a continuous-action single belt press for
fruit and berry mash. In the Opus belt press, juice extraction
takes place between the first large press roller and the press
belt. This press roller rotates slowly and the mash is distributed
evenly over the entire belt width. Low pressure is applied to
extract 70% of the juice at this stage. The gently pressure
increase ensures that even the most difficult-to-press mashes can
be processed. After each press roller, a scraper prevents the
product from travelling backwards. After the final press roller, a
scraper removes the pomace from the belt. Next, the belt is cleaned
by the rotating brush rollers. Continuous water cleaning is not
necessary, preventing water carry-over in the juice. The cleaning
intervals depend on the fruit type.
